Fertility Associates of Memphis Team Raises $10,000 for Kids at St. Jude

We believe it’s important to give back.

That’s why Fertility Associates of Memphis joined the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital again as a proud sponsor of the St. Jude Memphis Marathon Weekend charity run this year.

Fertility Associates of Memphis, a bronze-level sponsor of the St. Jude Marathon Weekend, raised $10,000 for the kids of St. Jude as part of its fundraising efforts, including a Facebook campaign that rewarded each new “like” and a 5K race team that raised donations as well. The money raised at events like the St. Jude Memphis Marathon Weekend are critical to St. Jude’s ability to treat kids with cancer and ensure no family ever pays St. Jude for anything.

Dr. William Kutteh, managing partner at Fertility Associates of Memphis, said, “We believe it’s important to give back to our community. That’s why we are so proud to sponsor the charity run for St. Jude again and help these children who are fighting cancer. We know the most important thing is ensuring patients at St. Jude get the care they need.”

Fertility Associates of Memphis continues to work closely with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and other cancer centers to get the word out about fertility preservation. Many cancer treatments, specifically chemotherapy and radiation, are well documented to cause a decrease in both male and female fertility. This is particularly true in adolescent patients. But children diagnosed with cancer don’t have to give up their dream of one day having a family.
